Oral androgenic compound with dihydrotestosterone-related activity; used medically in selected androgen-deficiency conditions in some markets.

Medical Purpose: Prescribed in several countries to treat conditions related to androgen deficiency in adult males:

1. Male hypogonadism (low testosterone)
2. Reduced libido, fatigue, or mood disturbances associated with androgen deficiency
3. Certain types of male infertility associated with low androgen levels

Mechanism: Binds directly to androgen receptors to replace missing testosterone. Like drostanolone, it cannot be converted into estrogen.

Key Risks: Oily skin, acne, mood changes, liver enzyme alterations, and potential impacts on lipid profiles. It is contraindicated in cases of prostate cancer or severe liver disease.
