Primary Medical Indications
- Hormone Receptor-Positive Breast Cancer: Used to treat estrogen-receptor-positive ($ER+$) breast cancer in both premenopausal and postmenopausal women, as well as men.
- Adjuvant Risk Reduction: Prescribed post-surgery, chemotherapy, or radiation to lower the risk of cancer recurrence or development in the opposite breast.
- High-Risk Prevention: Administered to individuals at high genetic or clinical risk of developing breast cancer to reduce overall incidence.
- Ductal Carcinoma in Situ (DCIS): Prescribed following surgery to decrease the risk of invasive breast cancer progression.
- Off-Label Gynecomastia & Fertility: Used off-label under medical guidance to manage painful male breast swelling (gynecomastia) or to induce ovulation in specific fertility protocols.
